Taylor Machine Works has been designing, building, and marketing empty container handlers since the year 1976. The "Big Red" line of Taylors empty container handlers has all the knowledge and experience built in those years. The Taylor empty handlers are known as "All American" models since they are engineered and manufactured within the USA. Taylor is consistently on the cutting edge of industrial technology. The business strives to maintain their commitment of engineering and manufacturing the most dependable, best and most productive container handling machinery around, anywhere in the globe.
The company's empty container handlers are equipped with a wide range of masts and attachments in order to better meet your specific requirements. The following is a list of models with their basic mast and attachment.
In order to pick 20 feet throughout 53 feet empty ISO standard containers and empty reefer containers, the TECDS-150H Attachment is able to expand. Any containers measuring over 40 feet need to have standard 40 feet ISO pickup points. The attachment has 4 corner twist-locks too, electrical signal lights in the cab, hydraulic slewing and 2 work lights.
Able to deal with 2 separate 20 foot or 40 foot empty ISO standard containers simultaneously is the ELME attachment. It allows for numerous containers to be stacked on top of each other. Additionally, this type of attachment comes with 4 horizontal twist-locks which insert into the side apertures of the upper containers bottom corner castings and the lower container's top corner castings. The extremely specialized design of the twist-locks enables block stacking to be carried out.

Every Taylor model container forklift has a Tier Compliant Cummins electronic turbocharged, charged air after-cooled or charged air to air diesel engine. A few of the basic engine features comprise diagnostic monitor and electronic maintenance, transmission/engine protection, fuel/water separator, improved fuel economy and reduced overall emissions. Furthermore, the available transmission for all 3 units is a 3-speed, fully reversing, power-shift, non-modulated transmission. It comes complete with remote shift control and inching capacity.
These models have been carefully engineered to deal with the worst conditions and the roughest atmosphere's which nature can throw at them. These units could work with ease through deep snow, rough terrain and thick mud. Having the ability to rely on a reliable machinery when you are working in lousy conditions and in the middle of nowhere is certainly an important investment for your company.
