Use a Pneumatic Forklift
You could normally find pneumatic forklifts in shipping and warehouse operations. Also referred to as pallet trucks or pump trucks, they are used in order to move products and supplies around on wooden pallets using metal forks which are mounted on a wheeled counterweight. The counterweight contains a pump which can lift the forks off the ground. A pallet truck is intended to be operated by one individual.
To be able to prevent loosing control while raising heavy loads, pallet trucks should always be operated with care. Machine must be inspected before operating. Clear the wheels area of any obstructions. Check that the handle turns smoothly. The pallet should be carefully stacked to ensure that nothing will fall off during transportation.
To be able to release air in the pump and lower the forks, squeeze the lever located on the inside of the metal loop on the end of the pallet truck's handle. The forks could then be pushed into the pallet slots. The forks must be at the center to be able to ensure equal distribution of the pallet's weight across them. Raise the forks from the ground by pumping the pneumatic lift's handle until the pallet has cleared the ground completely. Do not lift the pallet very high or the forklift could unbalance.
Pull on the handle and then drag it behind you if you want to move the pallet. It is truly dangerous to push the pallet in front of you because the momentum could cause it to lose control. Take turns slowly and don't try to stop suddenly. Slowly stop, squeeze the lever, and the forks would lower to the ground. Lastly, remove the forks from the pallet by pulling them out. Return the pallet truck to its permanent place.
