FM GRU Tower Cranes were established in 1920. This family run company, FMgru, is found in the biggest industrial location in northern Italy. Throughout the 1950s, when the farming economy was evolving into an industrial and manufacturing economy, the company was working in the metal structural sector and welded construction industries. FMgru was involved in constructing bridges for roads, pylons to convey electricity, a wide range of presses, forklifts, prefabrication molds and farming machines.
In 1963, the company began crane production. The business eventually invested all of their human resources and financial resources in this activity. The target of this streamlining was to reach the highest level of specialization in the area of lifting.
Product Line
FMgru currently produces and sells 4 different series of tower cranes. These machinery are designed and engineered for various uses and there are models available to cover all construction requirements.
Some models provide really flexible lifting options for companies that are constructing private houses and small buildings. Self-erecting cranes offer 22 to 40 meters jib range and have 1200 to 4000 kg capacity.
Other models comprise topless tower cranes. These cranes have 30 to 65 meters jib range and a running capacity of 1800 to 6000 kg. The fast erecting tower cranes are user friendly and really adaptable. They are suitable for minimizing interferences when there are numerous cranes working in the same building site.
Saddle-jib tower cranes have a running capacity of 6000 kg to 12000 kg and a jib range of 58 to 80 meters. There are standard tower cranes that have no over sail restriction and are suitable for any construction or building project.
The Fdr56Luffing-jib cranes have 50 meter jibs and are equipped with 12000 kg capacity. These types of cranes are specifically designed to work in restricted locations and on high-rise projects where buildings are found in close proximity to each other.
