Narrow aisle lift trucks function by increasing the ratio of the storage space to the width of the aisle. Yale features the single reach NR and the double reach NDR models for aisle widths of eight to ten feet. The Narrow Aisle trucks manufactured by Yale apply best-in-class ergonomics and provide a Quadra-Flexx Operator Compartment that has different stance and control handle configurations.
NDR & NR Productivity Enhancements
Quadra-Flexx Operator Compartment: To be able to meet a wider variety of operations, there are many control handle configurations such as the aft stance, the choice of fore, and the side-stance options.
AC Motor Technology: The AC motor technology provides fast lifting speeds along with powerful deceleration and acceleration. It has been designed for quick plugging so as to facilitate more responsive directional changes that combine to increase the amount of cargo moved in a shift.
Mast & Reach Assembly: The mast reach assembly consists of tapered roller and trunion mounting bearings. This increases the mast durability and rigidity; along with the reach assembly carriage that are reinforced for long life and the gusseted rear frame weldment.
Power Lowering: To really improve the overall throughput and production, Yale provides industry leading lowering speeds and uploading speeds.
Regenerative Lowering: The regenerative lowering is a terrific feature which maintains lower oil operating temperature while reducing battery changes per shift.
Electronic Steering: In order to really reduce energy, the electronic steering eliminates the need for hydraulic pumps. The steering tiller is adjustable by the operator and the technician could adjust the steer effort so as to lessen operator fatigue. In the start-up process, drive tire centers automatically start.
Order Selectors: The narrow aisle trucks and the very narrow aisle trucks are also called order pickers. These machinery are designed for the manual handling of racked loads which are smaller than pallet size. These order selectors elevate both the cargo and the operator to its required height. This height can be in excess of 30 feet. Similar with the majority of turret trucks they are normally wire or rail guided when used in very narrow aisle applications.
